Stake limits and big slips at Fonbet

The maximum slip isn’t one number — it depends on market, competition, time and history. How to read it, how to raise it, and what tax costs above €200.

How limits work

Fonbet, like every operator, sets limits per market and event — not one global maximum. The highest limits are where the market is “deep”: Champions League, Premier League, Super League, Euroleague, NBA, big boxing nights and UFC numbered events. The lowest — on small leagues, special markets (scorers, cards) and live phases.

In practice: you enter an amount in the slip; if it exceeds the limit, the maximum accepted is shown. The limit is usually expressed as maximum return per slip, which is why on accas the accepted stake is smaller.

Raising limits

There’s no form — there’s live chat. From a logged-in account with history you request an increase for a specific market or in general. The finance team usually replies within hours. Requirements: completed verification and, for large amounts, the source-of-funds check (see the large-withdrawals guide).

Tax: where big slips cost

Tax is calculated per slip on net profit:

Net slip profitRateExample
up to €1000%—
€100.01 – €5002.5%€400 profit → €7.50
€500.01 – €1,0005%€800 profit → €32.50
above €1,0007.5%€3,000 profit → €182.50

Fonbet covers the tax on the first €200 per slip. Above that it’s withheld automatically. For a player with big slips the advice is simple and legal: many singles instead of one big one. Five €100 slips with €90 profit each are taxed at 0%. One €500 slip with €450 profit — at 2.5% after €200.

Why singles

Beyond tax: on singles the margin is paid once (4–5% on major competitions), while on accas it compounds. On a €1,000 stake the difference between 5% and 14% margin is €90 — per slip. Super Boost offsets part of it, but not all.

A big stake doesn’t mean a bigger probability. The 1–2% bankroll unit applies at €50 and at €5,000.

FAQ

Where do I see the maximum stake?▾

In the slip — when you enter an amount above the limit, a message shows the maximum accepted. It differs per market.

Why is the limit lower on accas?▾

Because the potential payout multiplies. Limits are usually set as maximum return per slip, not maximum stake.

Can I split a big stake into several slips?▾

Yes, it’s legal and common — and it reduces tax, since the scale applies per slip.
